To date, the late Heath Ledger bagged the 'Best Supporting Actor' Academy Award (Posthumous) for his silver screen portrayal of my favorite dastardly villain, the Joker, in 2008's 'The Dark Knight'. It was certainly expected, and Batman fans all over the world expected nothing less.
Kudos to this fine gentleman, and Godspeed wherever he may be.
The bummer during the awards night was Ms. Jolie and Ms. Aniston weeping their hearts our in the backstage for Mr. Ledger. Huh? Talk about misplaced drama. The guy's been pushing daisies for more than a year and these fine actresses chose to express their 'grief' before the media during the awards night. Talk about making a scene in an effort to add flavor to the otherwise lackluster Oscar limelight. Their tears would've made an impact if those who mourned the man's passing were someone else, but these are actors and actresses, people. From Hollywood, nonetheless.
